Both websites are entirely non-profit and independent and as such has no connection whatsoever with property owners, sellers or any public or private bodies whatsoever.
Featured across the pages are many of the empty, derelict and/or abandoned properties in a variety of states of repair from merely vacant and somewhat neglected through to buildings in a ruinous state. Many lie empty for years, some till they are vandalised or demolished when deemed too decayed to warrant repair. Amongst them are some architectural gems, some fine examples of type and some unusual buildings as well as many showing how buildings decay, and the perils and pitfalls awaiting empty buildings.
More buildings have been visited and photographed and pages are being readied for upload, and yet more buildings are to be visited and photographs added as time allows.

Derelict Glasgow is still being developed and corrected as any errors are found. New pages are added regularly and existing pages are often updated as new information is found and/or the condition or circumstances of individual buildings change.
